Destination

Lanta Island, known as a favorite place of travelers who love peace and want to escape the crowds, is a large island with a native community. Most beautiful beaches are on the west side of the Island.

Kantiang Bay lies towards the southern tip of Lanta Island and provides the last little hub of shops, restaurants, bars and cafes before entering the more sparsely populated on the deep south of the island. As you enter the bay, you are greeted by a kilometre of white sand beach and crystal clear waters, setting against a backdrop of a tropical rainforest reaching up into the hillside. Kantiang Bay is the best place to base yourself if you want to dive in some of the top dive sites in Thailand. With spectacular reefs, unmatched marine diversity and great visibility, Kantiang Bay offers you to get more chance to enjoy the relaxed and laid back atmosphere of island life.

Koh Rok
Koh Rok is a popular island for first time visitors. Just one hour away by speed boat, to the south of Lanta, are the twin limestone islands of Koh Rok Nok and Koh Rok Nai, within the boundary of Koh Lanta's National Marine Park on the edge of Thailand's national boundary line.
Koh Rok's nature is very diverse with some perfect beaches, tropical rain forests and a full square mile of fabulous coral reefs. The fabulous underwater world with a huge variety of sea life and corals, and glass-clear waters with up to 30 metre visibility. On land a jungle of ancient Banyan Trees houses fantastic nature-watching opportunities for big monitor lizards and troops of shell crabs.

Koh Phi Phi
Koh Phi Phi has been a world famous tourist attraction for over 30 years. Some visitors to the the island may find it over-crowded and more expensive than Lanta due to its popularity with regular tourists. There are actually two islands, Phi Phi Don and Phi Phi Ley. Phi Phi Don offers many resorts and options for tourist accommodation and has two popular horseshoe-shaped beaches. But Phi Phi Ley is sparsely populated with few people living on it, retaining a certain charm. Koh Phi Phi offers amazing natural sights unique to the area - very high limestone cliffs with waterfalls dropping vertically in the crystal clear sea below.

Koh Ngai
This island has two names - the general Thai population calls it Koh Ngai but the locals know it as Koh Hai. It is the island closest to Koh Lanta, just off the east side. The island is lush with verdant rainforest, secluded romantic beaches and a kilometer long reef that runs around the island. There are only five resorts here making this tiny island feel spacious and deserted. This coast is ideal for traveling in group or package tour, as with five islands lined up together, Koh Ngai, Koh Kradan, Koh Cheuk, Koh Waen and Koh Mook, easy to access. One of the highlights is always the Emerald Cave at Mook Island. The snorkeling at Koh Cheuk and Koh Waen are also marvelous.

Koh Ha
Koh Ha lies between Koh Phi Phi, not far from Koh Lanta. There is only one small beach out of five that is suitable for snorkeling and diving, offering several different dive site possibilities. The best of these is on Koh Ha Yai where you'll find two enormous caverns. Their entrances are at 10-14 metres depth. A dive is best started on the reef to the west of the cave where there are some nice coral heads and fields of sea whips at a depth of 20-25 metres. The caves at the end of this dive are certainly the highlight. You can surface once inside and see large stalactites hanging over your head, and the light coming into the caverns make for some beautiful photographs. At the back of the east cave is a small hole leading to a tunnel some 25 metre long, ending in a small chamber. However, divers should have proper equipment and be well trained with some experience.

Apart from going to the beach and relaxing by the pool, our property is an ideal spot for exploring the island and the underwater world of Andaman Sea. We are close to several stunning marine parks and some of Thailand's most beautiful diving spots, such as Phi Phi Islands, Koh Rok National parks and Koh Hai.
The hotel also provides bicycle and water sport equipment, free of charge. We occasionally arrange special activities such as yoga and meditation sessions, Thai cooking and Thai dancing classes.

Weddings and Parties.
If you dream of having a small intimate wedding on the beach with the stunning azure sea as a backdrop and saying your vow while the sunsets, Phra Nang Lanta offers a perfect venue for you to realize that dream. We can help you organize the perfect wedding exactly the way you want. It could be a classy white wedding on the beach, the exotic traditional Thai ceremony, or a casual island style wedding.
